Untrack

An open-source Android app that audits your phone's settings and your installed apps, then shows step-by-step suggestions for reducing how much data they collect.

It runs on your device. There is no account and no sign-up, and it collects nothing about you.

How it works

Android does not allow one app to change another app's settings, so Untrack shows the steps and links to the relevant settings screen where one exists.

Contributing

Suggestions are contributed on GitHub, reviewed by a person, cryptographically signed, and delivered to the app between releases. You can also suggest one from inside the app without a GitHub account.

The app and its content are in English. Translations are welcome as contributions — the catalog format supports any number of languages.
